Trans-positive music videos.
While recovering from Ylvis songs on Youtube, I stumbled across Avicii's "Silhouettes", which is a bit of a "meh" song for me, but I was struck by the lovely trans-positive video:
Which of course got me to wondering about other trans-positive music videos out there, so I dug around and found a slightly older Pet Shop Boys' "Winner" (again, the song is a bit "meh" for me, but the video's worth digging).
Which eventually led me to this (old) article discussing videos/song lyrics that could be read in a trans-positive way and/or as related to trans issues, which reminded me of Dresden Doll's "Half Jack" and "Sex Changes", Blur's "Girls and Boys", and a host of other songs. So now I've been stretching my brain a bit to see if there are any other songs I've come across recently that would fit the bill.
Anyway, given that I don't usually stumble across very many trans-positive videos (or positive representations of transfolk in media in general, sadly), I thought I'd pass these along.
(This is what I am doing instead of fixing our bathroom sink drain.)
