They break down a little bit, but the recipes I intended them to appear in revolved around the tomatoes being cooked down for full effect. If I have enough tomatoes this year, I will dice-and-freeze again because they freeze pretty flat and are worth my time for Indian food. (I cook a lot of Indian.)
